Job Description

This position calls for a User Interface Designer who is a perfectionist with detailing on design elements, aesthetics of the overall design and with a great sense on color and placements. A key player, decision maker and one who can recommend design ideas with logical reasoning. 

Responsibilities 

Design front-end layouts along with the best practices of Internet/Portal Designs

Working closely with the product team and brainstorming the ideas and execute them till the last level

Applying user-centered design processes to create high quality user experiences for Web, Mobile and other platforms

Manage UI and Usability for complex web applications as a member of high energy teams

The ideal candidate must be able to multi-task and effectively manage many complex projects

Ability to sell usability of a product to the team

Build and maintain wireframes and prototypes of various user interfaces

Sync with the engineering team and make sure the designs and layouts blends 100%

Working with strict deadlines and delivering the projects to the respective team

Keep an eye on the competition market and benchmark accordingly

Eligibility Criteria

4+ years of experience in user interface design for Web and Mobile UI (Android, iPhone, iPad, WAP)

Great hands on Photoshop skills with an eye for detail

Must have good understanding of typography, layout and color theory

Excellence in information architecture and usability

Excellent logical reasoning

Basic understanding Web 2.0 concepts

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Good team player with people management skills

Voracious reader of usability related blogs / material

Prior portfolio that is truly innovative
