Job Description

This role is for who wants to join a dynamic and fast-paced environment of a early stage startup. Who can follow established processes and guidelines to perform tasks with exceptional accuracy while maintaining the productivity. Ability to make logical decisions while performing audit tasks even when provided information is ambiguous. Write engaging and insightful content for ToRoots from scratch.

The ideal candidate will be an exceptional writer with digital background, collaborator and passionate about developing effective content that tells the story of the brand.

Compensation will likely be a below-market salary for first 3 months, but once you prove your mettle, ESOP options and fast and frequent growth in compensations is always possible


Lead creative content development and create a motivating stimulus to get the targeted population to “take action” 
Consistently deliver well-written, high quality and compelling content as per plan, across all the channels (blogs, website, and Social media) – from ideation, creation and curation; 
Build and manage a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience to our owned properties (including blog posts, whitepapers, ebooks, reports, webinars, infographics, etc.). 
Understand the services/products/solutions offered and strategize content accordingly. Develop go-to-market campaigns including the creation of email, print and marketing campaigns 
Serve as an internal journalist/writer for corporate communication 
Research trends in thought leadership and collateral creation 
Proofreading and self-auditing content of the team members. 
Generate content ideas for content marketing. 
Driving content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, leads, that deliver sales and customer retention. 
The role requires a brand publisher mindset: to create the content our audience is looking for and then to optimize the path to conversion. 
Channel management of digital content hubs and all supporting social channels including email/newsletter distribution. 
This person must understand the basic best practices of the main social media channels, which content and approaches work on each and why 
Establish closed-loop analytics with sales to understand how our inbound marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine our process to convert customers. 
Write product description, brand support material etc.

Eligibility Criteria

Sincere love for travel 
3+ years of working experience in content, proofreading, communication, journalism, or related fields. 
Proficient in English. Exceptional verbal, writing, reading, and comprehension skills. 
Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform all decisions. 
Strong background in web search and familiarity with various ways used for searching for information. 
Good data analysis skills and great attention to detail. 
Good understanding of digital marketing and content marketing. 
Understanding of the basic concepts of SEO. 
An understanding of keywords and meta tags 
Ability to write web page titles, meta tag descriptions etc. 
Go-getter attitude. Readiness to meet and beat individual and team’s targets 
Expected to generate compelling content in the form of blogs, whitepapers, e-books, research reports, case studies, e-mail campaigns, web content, press releases, presentations, product demo videos, training manuals, product FAQs and info-graphics
