Job Description
Test ETL code & FrontEnd dashboards according to the functional requirements or user stories
Review Business Requirements and Technical Documents to facilitate the development of test cases
Document detailed test plans
Develop test automation scripts for QA validation of data sources across our Datawarehouse and FrontEnd reporting platform.
Manually execute test cases that do not have automated test scripts available
Participate in design and code reviews
Document implemented QA test scripts
Effectively communicate test results with the team, as well as log and track outstanding bugs
Participate in Daily Scrum calls as well as spring planning sessions to support development efforts
Effectively use Jira to track and report user stories, tasks & bugs
Proactively review, streamline and suggest improvements to our current processes and documentation
Establish a good working rapport with the Development team, System Engineers & our data partners.
Eligibility Criteria
Requires experience as a QA Engineer
Good understanding of Databases and Datawarehouse tools
Good understanding of Business Intelligence/Data Visualization platforms
Experienced in Python development (with a focus on QA test automation)
Experience in SQL for data validation exercises
Prior Experience utilizing QA automation tools & frameworks
Prior Experience in testing very large data sets
Prior Experience working with Cloud-based data warehouses
