Research, plan, and DITA-based documentation for end-user (UI) and developer (API) audiences.
Collaborate across Product, Engineering, User Experience, and Services to gather information and define documentation requirements.
Compose user interface texts and error messages for optimal product usability.
Follow existing style guides without losing sight of the big picture and understandability.
Test documentation against the product to ensure completion and accuracy.
3-6 years of technical writing experience.
Very sharp writing skills. We are focused on clarity, accuracy, and efficiency.
Proven ability to quickly learn complex, technical products and convert knowledge into highly usable documentation.
Strong oral communication and presentation skills.
Fluency with Wiki, XML, and plaintext-based authoring (Confluence, DITA, Markdown)
Experience using technical writing authoring tools (oXygen Editor, Atom, FrameMaker, MadCap Flare etc.)
Experience documenting for both end-user (UI) and developer (API/SDK) audiences.
Experience designing and maintaining contextual help systems.
Skilled at balancing multiple projects while maintaining a high level of attention to detail in an agile development environment.
Experience using the MS Office Suite of products.
Familiarity with, or demonstrated the capacity to learn, UNIX command-line tools such as curl.
HTML and CSS competency and the ability to read code and create code samples would be a plus.
Familiarity with online advertising and/or the advertising technology industry would be a plus.
